Building Support Operative

 JOB SPECIFICATION

Grade: Support Grade B

Salary Range: £12,653 - £19,837

Unit / Department: Site Services / Laboratory Services

Reporting to: Building Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE

Implement building support & routine maintenance tasks to meet scheduled requirements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Perform a wide range of building support & routine maintenance takes.

2. Comply with relevant operating instructions.

3. Act timeously in response to building faults.

4. Adhere to all required Health & Safety standards.

5. Assist with the training and development of new recruits working in the building.

6. Carry out operational monitoring as per instructions.


PERSON SPECIFICATION

EXPERIENCE

Experience of working as part of a team as well as on ones own initiative is desirable.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

Able to take direction.

BEHAVIOURAL STYLE

Effective communicator.
Confident in ones own ability.
