The Dounreay site in Caithness is at the centre of a programme of extensive decommissioning - worth £150 million a year. This is a significant undertaking requiring highly skilled and flexible staff who will be involved in developing and taking forward the new techniques and approaches required in a wide range of areas.
Requirements
There are immediate opportunities for graduates with an Honours degree in an Engineering discipline.
The position
The successful candidate(s) will be part of multi-discipline teams and will be involved in a range of activities including:
• Plant improvements; engineering solutions to optimise plant throughput
• Technical proposals; detailed, financially justifiable designs for project work
• Project Management; ensuring project work is carried out safely, to time and cost
The position is a demanding role in a high profile engineering environment and as such provides the scope for a potentially rewarding opportunity.
