Mainsaver Adminstration Support

JOB SPECIFICATION

Grade: Support Grade C

Salary Range: £16,907 - £22,893

Unit / Department: Site Services Unit / IT Services

Reporting to: Mainsaver System Manager

JOB PURPOSE

To undertake administrative tasks to ensure the effective operation of the site wide Mainsaver system.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Generate and distribute Preventive Maintenance Work Orders as required.

2. Act as point of contact for a wide range of Mainsaver system users.

3. Administer the database interface between the Mainsaver and Achiever systems.

4. Ensure the validity of Mainsaver data.

5. Act as cover for the Mainsaver System Manager.

6. Provide training and advice services on specific Mainsaver processes and systems.

7. Undertake administrative tasks associated with web-based system access applications.

Other Features: Assist with general projects and tasks as required.


PERSON SPECIFICATION

EXPERIENCE

Previous experience of working in a service area is desirable

Previous experience of computerise maintenance management systems or specifically the Mainsaver system would be a distinct advantage

Ideally would hold some knowledge of the Mainsaver Web Work Request process

An appreciation of site projects and activities would be an advantage

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

No specific qualifications are required as full job related training will be provided.

An understanding of engineering terminology and maintenance systems.

Capable of following tasks through to completion with minimal supervision

A proven ability to operate effectively within a regulated environment

A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
