Freedom of Information
Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of UKAEA Ltd, part of the UK Atomic Energy Authority. The UKAEA is a designated body under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The site is owned by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. The site is decommissioned by DSRL under contract to the NDA. The NDA is also a designated body under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The Act places requirements on public authorities, such as NDA and UKAEA and its subsidiary undertakings, relating to the provision and disclosure of information.

The Act enables anyone to request information and to be given that information, subject to certain exemptions. If you would like information from DSRL and you haven’t been able to find it on this website, click here to request it from DSRL.
