A new brand identity has been developed for Dounreay as part of its transition to a site licence company.

The new logo features the silhouette of the spherical Dounreay Fast Reactor.

Its design is consistent with the identity of other site licence companies being formed at sites now owned by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.

But spending on the rebranding is being kept to an absolute minimum.

All existing workwear and other items branded with the old UKAEA logo will remain in use on the site after April 1 until they need to be replaced through stock depletion or wear and tear.

The cost of the rebranding carried out in preparation for DSRL is approximately £17,000.
