Dounreay joins Learning at Work Day
May 14, 2009
Dounreay is among hundreds of workplaces across Britain taking part today in an initiative to encourage workers to develop new skills and gain more qualifications.
Learning at Work Day aims to raise awareness of the benefits of lifelong learning and encourage workers to explore a wide range of opportunities to enhance their skills.
Among those taking part at Dounreay today are the Open University, North Highland College, trade union learning reps and Training at Naver, the in-house training business of Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd.
They will run a number of stands at the site where workers can chat informally about the opportunities and find out more about how to pick up new skills and qualifications.
