Workers dismantle the dump tanks at PFR

Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd has published its monthly performance report for April.

The latest edition focusses on work to remove four giant tanks from the Prototype Fast Reactor and the successful award of planning permission for Scotland's first disposal facility for nuclear waste for 50 years.

It also contains a new feature - an at-a-glance summary of the work that needs to be done to complete site closure and estimated dates for its completion.
