NDA launches competition for Dounreay

The competition is to find new owners for Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority has launched its competition for the ownership of Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd.

The successful bidder will form a parent body organisation that acquires the shares in DSRL and seconds key personnel to lead management positions in the site licence company.

A detailed programme of market engagement will commence this month, followed by a two-part industry event to be held in Caithness and Glasgow or Edinburgh in the first half of 2010.
