November performance figures published

 Dounreay's performance report for November has been published.

This issue features a five-year project to repack drums of historic waste, which has yielded small amounts of fissile material.

The publication also features the latest Radioactivity in Food and the Environment report published annually by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency, which concluded that the dose to the public from Dounreay during 2008 was eight per cent of the safe limit.

Also provided are at-a-glance statistics across a range of safety and performance indicators.
