Old PFR construction offices set for demolition
August 31, 2010
A demolition team has stripped out a suite of redundant offices in preparation for the bulldozers moving in.
Known as DN023, the offices were built beside the Prototype Fast Reactor in 1966 and housed the resident engineer's team.
Latterly, they were used by sub-contractors but are now redundant.
The complex consists of three separate blocks, running parallel to each other and of single-story, pitched roof construction.
