Former site director to lead Nuclear Institute

Former Dounreay director Norman Harrison has been appointed president of the Nuclear Institute.
He served as site director between 2003 and 2007, when he was appointed chief executive of the UKAEA.
“I am both honoured and delighted to be taking over as president at this crucial time for the UK nuclear industry," he said. "I am looking forward to meeting the institute’s staff and key industry players at our regional branches. Skills and training will play a major part in the Institute’s future agenda.”
