New look for site closure performance report
January 25, 2011
Dounreay is changing the way it reports progress on site closure to local community leaders.
Until now, the site has produced a monthly at-a-glance performance report for the site stakeholder group.
The four-page report also appeared as an insert with the site newspaper Dounreay News.
Members of the site stakeholder group asked for the report to be changed in style and frequency.
Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd is now producing a quarterly report for the group.
The report covers environmental and safety issues as well as progress to clean out, dismantle and knock down redundant facilities.
The latest of the new reports was presented this month by deputy managing director Tony Wratten.
DSRL is publishing these reports on its website.
The last of the old-style reports, covering activities in December, will be published shortly.
At the same time, DSRL is reviewing how it can make greater use of the website to provide regular updates between meetings across a range of performance indicators.
