Particle clean-up resumes offshore

Work has resumed on the seabed off Dounreay to remove higher activity fragments of irradiated nuclear fuel.

Poor sea conditions caused a suspension of the clean-up on May 16.

Contractor Land and Marine moved its barge back into position on May 30 and resumed work using a remotely-operated vehicle on the seabed.
