New NDA boss for Dounreay shutdown

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority has announced the appointment of a new head of programme for Dounreay.

Nigel Lowe, a graduate chartered engineer, will join NDA from the Atomic Weapons Establishment.

Dounreay is owned by the NDA and is decommissioned on its behalf by Dounreay Site Restoration Ltd under the terms of a contract between the NDA and DSRL's parent body.
