Dounreay helps TV programme go with a Bang

Dounreay is to feature in a TV programme exploring aspects of the nuclear industry.

The final episode in the BBC’s ‘Bang Goes The Theory’ series, which will be shown tonight on BBC 1 at 7.30pm, looks at the nuclear industry in the wake of the Fukushima disaster and the UK government's recent announcement that new reactors would be built in England.

A BBC film crew spent two days in and around the site in June filming material for the programme.
