Delivery Information for suppliers to DSRL
1. An Advice Note quoting the Order No must accompany each consignment.
2. Each consignment is to be clearly marked with the Order No.
3. Deliveries will only be accepted Monday to Friday 0815-1200 and 1300-1530.
4. PACKAGES: All containers (e.g. packing cases, boxes, tins and wrappings) supplied by the Contractor are considered as non-returnable and their cost as having been included in the Contract Price.
5. INSPECTION is carried out after delivery unless arrangements are made to the contrary.
6. CONTRACTORS are required to meet all costs incurred in respect of redirection of goods wrongly delivered.
7. Delivery drivers not in possession of a personally held site pass will be directed to reception. They will be required to provide photographic proof of identity, as well as the delivery note for the goods being delivered to the site, prior to being allowed entry.
Suitable forms of photographic identification are:
> Driving licence
> Passport
> All visitors' vehicles and bags will be subject to search procedures.
Visitors unable to produce acceptable evidence of identity, or who refuse a vehicle search, will be denied entry. DSRL will not be liable for any costs in such circumstances.
8. All delivery drivers entering the Dounreay Site must as a minimum wear a high visibility jacket when delivering to the Stores Building D8525. Deliveries to other Dounreay buildings will likely require the driver (and anyone else involved in off-loading) to wear further basic Personal Protective Equipment, identified with the delivery point.
