OJEU
Official Journal of the European Union
All procurement in the public sector is subject to EC Treaty principles of non-discrimination, equal treatment and transparency. The EC Public Procurement Directives require contracting authorities to provide details of procurements in a prescribed format, which are then published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). In accordance with European legislation, the majority of supply and service procurements with an estimated value of £156,442, and works contracts with an estimated value of currently £3,927,260 must be advertised in the OJEU.
DSRL is not a contracting authority; however, through its contracts with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, DSRL is required to advertised in OJEU.
All companies replying to an OJEU advertisement have an equal opportunity to express interest in being considered for tendering. As in all of its tendering exercises, DSRL ensures those companies selected to tender receive the same information on which to make their bid.
DSRL will submit relevant advertisements for publication in the OJEU before repeating references to them on this website. Expressions of interest must be received in accordance with DSRL instructions.
OJEU advertisements are published daily in Tenders Electronic Daily (TED), the on-line version of the Supplement S to the OJEU containing calls for tenders, contract awards and pre-information notices. TED can be accessed at http://ted.europa.eu.
To locate DSRL notices follow these steps:
* OJEU publishes the last 5 editions of the notices only and therefore to see more it is advisable to create a log-in ID in TED and follow the registration requirements on the OJEU website;
* In the Search field Select 'Extended search' (lefthand side bar);
* In the Search Scope field Select 'All current notices' (top right of the search screen);
* In the Authority name field enter 'dsrl OR restoration' (lower right of search screen);
* Click 'Go' (bottom centre of search screen);
* Results will be displayed for any notice with ‘DSRL’ or ‘Restoration’ contained in the DSRL name.
DSRL's indicative notices, advertisements and award notices will then be listed (most recent published at the top of the list).
